As the sun-kissed days of summer fade into the shadows of fear, a sense of tranquility is shattered for a group of unsuspecting counselors. Blinded by their own youthful optimism, they pay little heed to the dark history that looms over Camp Crystal Lake. However, their carefree days are soon overshadowed by a malevolent presence - Jason, a relentless force of depravity lurking in the shadows, preying on their every move. Suffering a fate far worse than they could have imagined, they soon realize that their idyllic retreat has turned into a chilling nightmare from which there may be no escape.
