Whispers of the infamous outlaw Jesse James being the quickest draw in the Wild West spread like wildfire. Robert Ford, a young and ambitious member of James' gang, quickly becomes consumed by envy towards the legendary outlaw. Along with his brother, Ford concocts a deadly plan to eliminate James, inadvertently thrusting their target into a realm of near-mythical proportions.
