Enthralled by the works of Albert Camus and Jean-Luc Godard, Nick Twisp, a teenage misfit, finds himself out of place when his mother and her boyfriend uproot the family to a dreary trailer park. Amidst the mundane surroundings, Nick's world is suddenly illuminated by the presence of Sheeni, a captivating neighbor who introduces him to the enchanting melodies of French crooners. Instantly smitten, Nick is determined to win Sheeni's affection, despite the obstacle of her current relationship. Thus begins a comical and tumultuous journey as Nick embarks on a wild and imaginative pursuit to capture Sheeni's heart and ultimately her embrace.
