The Pirates! Band of Misfits is an animated film based on Gideon Defoe's novel, The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists. The story follows a fierce competition between Pirate Captain and his crew against their treacherous rivals, Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz, in a quest to win the coveted Pirate of the Year Award.
